After 5th play minutes Artemio Ibañez shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Vladimiro Sedeni and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Fernan Naelio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Vladimiro Sedeni to make any attempt to save it. Jaime Donzel charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Donzel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Jaime Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villarreal FC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Montecarlo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vicente Igon took the corner. When Villarreal FC's Vicente Igon, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Villarreal FC. Artemio Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Sedeni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Artemio Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biddle Minton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Villarreal FC booed when Montecarlo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Joachim didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Ibañez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Sedeni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Villarreal FC made a substitution. François Rouvrais replaced Biddle Minton. Geronimo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Rodolfo Normando in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Montecarlo FC's Fernan Naelio. Geronimo Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Igon in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Artemio Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdul Elbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Sedeni having to interfere. Montecarlo FC made a substitution. When Jaime Donzel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Jaime Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Villarreal FC booed when Montecarlo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Joachim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Vicente Igon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villarreal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 93rd minute of the match, Klaus Johannis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geronimo Colas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cristobal Txindoki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Sedeni having to make a save. Vicente Igon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Villarreal FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Montecarlo FC had won, even though Villarreal FC had held more of the ball.
