DONPATO's Alkan Soysaltürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biddle Minton in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Villarreal FC defense, Enis Dersu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Sedeni. The Villarreal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Sedeni should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute Vicente Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkan Soysaltürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Villarreal FC's Biddle Minton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alkan Soysaltürk. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. In the 36th minute of the game Rodolfo Normando made a throw-in which Biddle Minton played forward. In the 37th minute, Villarreal FC's Vicente Igon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enis Dersu got free with Vladimiro Sedeni in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 played minutes Villarreal FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Igon. Dé Sensø charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé Sensø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Dé Sensø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to DONPATO getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dé Sensø hit a great ball. Benedito de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Sedeni having to interfere. DONPATO made a substitution. Jairo Francesco replaced Lambis Tsekouras. Benedito de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Sedeni came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by DONPATO's Benedito de Sousa. But to his dismay, Benedito de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Lucas Martínez Quarta's late challenge caught a Villarreal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
