Montecarlo FC's Geronimo Colas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Montecarlo FC from getting a goal against them. Palmar FC's Baltasar Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Elbert in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Palmar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. Geronimo Colas made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Anacleto Rivas sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Montecarlo FC booed when Palmar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Ferrando's late challenge caught a Palmar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Ferrando helped the player get up and apologised. Palmar FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
