Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Serafin Gorbea took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Palmar FC's Octavio Palos got a free kick in the 4th minute. Benedito de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Gonzales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedito de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Baltasar Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito de Sousa in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Gonzales saved Palmar FC from getting behind. DONPATO's Alkan Soysaltürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cresenciano in the 11th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Albano Etxeberri in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DONPATO's Jairo Francesco. Palmar FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Sugoi in the 19th minute. Ali Emir Ünver tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Alkan Soysaltürk. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 19th minute. Benedito de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Gonzales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Baltasar Gonzales came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by DONPATO's Benedito de Sousa. But to his dismay, Benedito de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Benedito de Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Gonzales. Palmar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito de Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 33 minutes into the match, DONPATO's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Colasante came free, but Alkan Soysaltürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedito de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Gonzales having to interfere. Baltasar Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Alkan Soysaltürk was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Carlo Colasante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlo Colasante really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedito de Sousa to make the kick off. Albano Etxeberri made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Antonio Cresenciano immediately put the ball in play. After 57 played minutes DONPATO got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Cordarin. In the 60th minute Benedito de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to DONPATO getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gaudencio Ugaitz hit a great ball. When Serafin Gorbea came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Palmar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Gorbea couldn't finish the play. Alkan Soysaltürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Colasante in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Palmar FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Gonzales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Francesco. Benedito de Sousas short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Baltasar Gonzales to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alkan Soysaltürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nusrettin Akkanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito de Sousa took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Gonzales. Baltasar Gonzales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Palmar FC's Feliberto Orixe was substituted for Octavio Palos. After a defensive mix-up in Palmar FC's zone, Benedito de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Gonzales came out of the goal and Benedito de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Benedito de Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Baltasar Gonzales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, DONPATO's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Colasante came free, but Alkan Soysaltürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Benedito de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedito de Sousa took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Gonzales. Baltasar Gonzales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The DONPATO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DONPATO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
