The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastian Jayvier struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Baltasar Gonzales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercado Paulista F.C. After a rather tough play, Palmar FC's Jaime Remicio got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mercado Paulista F.C's Jonathan Arixo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Baltasar Gonzales but with some difficulty. Baltasar Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palmar FC's Baltasar Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Jayvier in the 11th minute of play. Fernando Arquett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Sugoi in the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmar FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Gonzales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Jayvier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Gonzales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Veličko Antić in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mercado Paulista F.C's Jonathan Arixo. A collision led to Palmar FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Albano Etxeberri hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Jonathan Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Arixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anacleto Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Caco de Sena got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Gonzales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emir Mecnun charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emir Mecnun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emir Mecnun to maneuver through the defense. Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Sugoi in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Mercado Paulista F.C getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Paulino Elequemedo hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Rivas came free, but Fernando Arquett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Jayvier to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Paulino Elequemedo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Sebastian Jayvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Palmar FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Veličko Antić hit a great ball. Palmar FC's Carlo Colasante was substituted for Alfredo Sugoi. Veličko Antić kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Baltasar Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Gonzales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Veličko Antić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palmar FC's 石岚夕 was substituted for Anacleto Rivas. 75 minutes in the game Veličko Antić did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nusrettin Akkanoğlu. Veličko Antić hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Paulino Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Gonzales having to interfere. Caco de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Palmar FC's Nusrettin Akkanoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Gonzales was left in no man's land by his defense there! Palmar FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
