Rosario Central FC's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Elia in the 6th minute of play. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Elia in the 10th minute of play. SAKEADORES FC's Guillermo Handi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save SAKEADORES FC from getting a goal against them. Anacleto Palban took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Martínez. Emiliano Martínez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Pio during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rosario Central FC booed when SAKEADORES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rosario Central FC's Răzvan Voinea in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guillermo Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Voinea in the 39th minute of the match. Gogo Elia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th match minute, Rosario Central FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Peio to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Elia came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half SAKEADORES FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rosario Central FC's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central FC from getting a goal against them. Julio Xacintu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Palban in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Firman got free with Emiliano Martínez in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 played minutes Rosario Central FC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Peio. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Rosario Central FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Rojelio. Gogo Elia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Martínez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Romário Gol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosario Central FC and the SAKEADORES FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SAKEADORES FC booed when Rosario Central FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Gol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosario Central FC made a substitution. Teodoro Vela replaced Maximiliano Frascuelo. If Gogo Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute Răzvan Voinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Pablo Solari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Handi. SAKEADORES FC made a substitution. Amancio Montrell replaced Pablo Firman. Gogo Elia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emiliano Martínez came out and tried to block the shot, but Gogo Elia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 94th minute. The Rosario Central FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SAKEADORES FC's performance. The match ended with a win for SAKEADORES FC.
