Rosario Central FC's Teodoro Vela was substituted for Maximiliano Frascuelo. 89 minutes into the game, Benigno Cutberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surisultana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Central FC the free kick. After 90 played minutes Surisultana got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Cutberto. In the 91st minute, Pablo Solari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Palos in the 94th minute of play forced Rosario Central FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rosario Central FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafino Palos was slow to take the kick. During this time Surisultana's players had a chance to rest. Serafino Palos made a great header on Surisultana's corner, it was just that Rosario Central FC's Emiliano Martínez managed to reach the ball for a save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Rosario Central FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Surisultana side.
