Arnulfo Baleren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguito Milito, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Riquelme 10's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguito Milito came free, but Arnulfo Baleren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Freddy Socorro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Riquelme 10 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Socorro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Riquelme 10 booed when Los Gatos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Nuri Selil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Baleren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieguito Milito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Riquelme 10's zone, Cristian Truylos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Baleren came out of the goal and Cristian Truylos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Cristian Truylos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Gatos Rojos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dieguito Milito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 played minutes, Riquelme 10's 陈益霖 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mariusz Koperski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Riquelme 10 reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Pichichi got free with Mariusz Koperski in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnulfo Baleren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dieguito Milito's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

In the 54th minute, Riquelme 10's Santio Obana seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Santio Obana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Riquelme 10 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Santio Obana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Riquelme 10 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! With his leg Arnulfo Baleren managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Los Gatos Rojos's Dieguito Milito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Riquelme 10's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panos Meintanis was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Gatos Rojos's players had a chance to rest. Riquelme 10 made a substitution. Kalpanatha Varma replaced Daniel Pichichi. Riquelme 10's Arnulfo Baleren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Riquelme 10 from getting a goal against them. After having played for 71 minutes, Freddy Socorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riquelme 10's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Socorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Truylos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnulfo Baleren firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gustavo López was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 79th minute Dieguito Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Baleren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Baleren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguito Milito in the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Riquelme 10 defense, Cristian Truylos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Baleren. The Riquelme 10 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Baleren should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute of the match Los Gatos Rojos got a corner. Riquelme 10's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Panos Meintanis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dieguito Milito in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnulfo Baleren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
