After a defensive mix-up in Supernadie's zone, Rick Shaw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Gilesindo came out of the goal and Rick Shaw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Bob Geldof cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lucas Gilesindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute Justino Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Overmars hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Lucas Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Geldof in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Storm Oxe in the 29th minute of play forced Fleetwood Town's goalkeeper Cristian Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Geordie Kinkladze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Mateo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Fleetwood Town's Nanak Liders got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bob Geldof to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Storm Oxe got free with Cristian Mateo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute Bob Geldof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Supernadie's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Barto came free, but Lucas Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Mateo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Wincent Jankowski sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Fleetwood Town's Cristian Mateo got control of the ball when Wincent Jankowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Chukwualuka Okaka Chuka sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Supernadie's Lucas Gilesindo didn't even have to move. In the 92nd minute, Oğuzer Saye ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Gilesindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 95 played minutes Supernadie got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Orlanda. In the 98th minute Justino Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fleetwood Town's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
