The referee ignored ROSGOL FC's protests and gave Geronimo Maria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Geronimo Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timur Korcan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Esteve Barto sent off a good shot on target. Oğuzer Saye struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Timur Korcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fleetwood Town. Timur Korcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Barto in the 20th minute. Oğuzer Saye's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Timur Korcan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Miguel Bizen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ROSGOL FC's zone, Chukwualuka Okaka Chuka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timur Korcan came out of the goal and Chukwualuka Okaka Chuka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timur Korcan made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rick Shaw sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Ali Tanyel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cristian Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fleetwood Town getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nanak Liders hit a great ball. Geronimo Maria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Mateo. Fleetwood Town's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristian Mateo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Ali Tanyel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Leandro Errapel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROSGOL FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fleetwood Town the free kick. After a rather tough play, ROSGOL FC's Leandro Errapel got a free kick in the 44th minute. Timur Korcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Geldof, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuzer Saye couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Timur Korcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Shaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Fleetwood Town's Rick Shaw nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timur Korcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Timur Korcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Shaw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on ROSGOL FC's corner Geronimo Maria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Mateo quite easily take care of the ball. It was a well-played corner which Alfredo Laureano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 69th minute Geronimo Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mateo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mustafa Ali Tanyel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Ali Tanyel in the 76th minute of play forced Fleetwood Town's goalkeeper Cristian Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Esteve Barto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timur Korcan. ROSGOL FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteve Barto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Fleetwood Town's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Mustafa Ali Tanyel scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Mateo, making the score, 3-1. In the 95th match minute, Fleetwood Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nanak Liders to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Nanak Liders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Fleetwood Town's zone, Geronimo Maria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Mateo came out of the goal and Geronimo Maria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the ROSGOL FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fleetwood Town.
