The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salliqueló's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oscar Belo was slow to take the kick. During this time A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Beto Acosta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Salliqueló's Victor Paublo did a great save. 6 minutes into the match, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Lopes came free, but Eriberto Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Manilan having to interfere. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Beto Acosta got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beto Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Paublo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Acosta in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Acosta in the 17th minute of play forced Salliqueló's goalkeeper Victor Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Eriberto Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Loiola in the 19th minute of play. If Anier Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Beto Acosta in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salliqueló's goalie prevented a goal. If Ismael Loiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Anier Seme got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Eriberto Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Loiola in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Loiola in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Manilan saved A.F Cuervos Azulgranas from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Melquiades Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Heriberto charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Heriberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Salliqueló getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ricardo Heriberto hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes A.F Cuervos Azulgranas got a freekick which was hit by Beto Acosta. Ulises Vistruario kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Beto Acosta made the kick off in the second half. Victor Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Acosta in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Salliqueló was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Salliqueló defense, Beto Acosta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Paublo. The Salliqueló fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Paublo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Salliqueló's zone, Anier Seme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Paublo came out of the goal and Anier Seme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Peng Hong Fei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Manilan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. If Tiburcio Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peng Hong Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Peng Hong Fei got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peng Hong Fei in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Paublo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Salliqueló getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ismael Loiola hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
