In the 31st minute of the match Salliqueló got a corner. Iluminados por El Sensei's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Salliqueló's Isidro Peyo to fire away a dangerous shot which Sepp Maier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fabian Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blai Cruz in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Paublo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Cordara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sepp Maier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Sotero in the 46th minute of play forced Salliqueló's goalkeeper Victor Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
