The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Ryszard Cytrynski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kepa Arrizabalaga was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Mazaredo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aaron Jokin took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Gustavo-Hernán Egoi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Kepa Arrizabalaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute of the game Edgard Bero made a throw-in which Walter Vestberg played forward. Mazaredo AFC's Victorino Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Ochoa in the 21st minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Gustavo-Hernán Egoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazaredo AFC's Victorino Kelemen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herman Bergström. Kepa Arrizabalaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Bergström in the 35th minute of play. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herman Bergström to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Rauno Rank mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka and the Mazaredo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Rauno Rank got a free kick in the 58th minute. Victorino Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mazaredo AFC's Victorino Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 62nd minute of play. Leon Trotskiy replaced Iker Eneko. After 71 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Jokin. After 74 minutes, Edgard Bero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazaredo AFC and the Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Mazaredo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Bero to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Pedro Ochoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Ochoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Kelemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Gustavo-Hernán Egoi could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Victorino Kelemen however easily saved by the left post. Victorino Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Ochoa in the 84th minute of play. Victorino Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Ochoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka defense, Lucas Gaur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kepa Arrizabalaga should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Mazaredo AFC were the better team. Mazaredo AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
