After a defensive mix-up in San Pedro de Colalao's zone, Damian Tulio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Koning came out of the goal and Damian Tulio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the San Pedro de Colalao defense, Venancio Inko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregor Koning. The San Pedro de Colalao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregor Koning should have stopped the shot. Simon Hulberto hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gregor Koning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Pedro de Colalao's Gregor Koning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Inko in the 25th minute of play. Gregor Koning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, San Pedro de Colalao's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Inko came free, but Gregor Koning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Orkatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Quilo in the 35th minute. If Victorino Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Venancio Inko made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Mendiko in the 53rd minute of play forced San Pedro de Colalao's goalkeeper Gregor Koning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, San Pedro de Colalao's Jan Villems nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Tiniebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. San Pedro de Colalao's Gregor Koning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Tiniebra in the 90th minute of play. Victorino Tiniebra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregor Koning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Victorino Tiniebra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5.
