The audience was convinced that Eleftherios Faniadis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Thomas was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Leszek Ikalewicz sped through Fiambalá's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angelino Thomas. Anibal Frascuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Angelino Thomas made a huge save. After 77 minutes Fiambalá's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amancio Tome who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Amancio Tome almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fiambalá's Angelino Thomas did a great save. 82 minutes into the game, LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY's Eleftherios Faniadis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nemesio Carlomagno charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Carlomagno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95thth minute of the game Eleftherios Faniadis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fiambalá's Angelino Thomas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliciano Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Veremundo in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
