Robustiano Cordareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stein Jamieson in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Forros Fantásticos AC's Santiago Sidro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Angelino Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Sidro in the 22nd minute of play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Claudio Veremundo from a close distance when the talented Robustiano Cordareo managed to make a qualified save. Forros Fantásticos AC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sidro in the 25th minute of play forced Fiambalá's goalkeeper Angelino Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiambalá's goalkeeper Angelino Thomas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sidro in the 32nd minute of play forced Fiambalá's goalkeeper Angelino Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forros Fantásticos AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Nabar in the 36th minute. The Forros Fantásticos AC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Forros Fantásticos AC's Alejo Lehior looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Sidro made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Fiambalá's Stein Jamieson made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Cordareo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alejo Lehior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Angelino Thomas made a huge save. Modesto Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Robustiano Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Forros Fantásticos AC's Alejo Lehior nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Forros Fantásticos AC's Octavio Marcones was substituted for Santiago Sidro. In the 75th match minute, Forros Fantásticos AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Sagen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fiambalá getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Claudio Veremundo hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Fiambalá got a freekick which was hit by Şentürk Erenoz. In the 85th match minute, Fiambalá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şentürk Erenoz to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Fiambalá's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Marcones came free, but Angelino Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Thomas came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Forros Fantásticos AC's Octavio Marcones. But to his dismay, Octavio Marcones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The Forros Fantásticos AC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Forros Fantásticos AC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
