With his leg Angelino Thomas managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Sportivo Constitución's Wincenty Bucyki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 12th minute, Modesto Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiambalá's Angelino Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Theodore in the 13th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Fiambalá got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Peio. 15 minutes into the match, Fiambalá's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Medardo came free, but Angelino Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fiambalá's Angel Horado got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arsenio Erico scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Thomas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Fiambalá's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Bucyki came free, but Angelino Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Burutzagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiambalá's Angelino Thomas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Fiambalá from getting a goal against them. Fiambalá's Angelino Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Theodore in the 27th minute of play. Angelino Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Bucyki, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Fiambalá got a freekick which was hit by Israel Galsino. Ciriaco Medardo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelino Thomas. Angelino Thomas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Arnoldo Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Sportivo Constitución's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Veremundo came free, but Enzo Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincenty Bucykis short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Angelino Thomas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Angelino Thomas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Burutzagi was the one to do the kick off. Angelino Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Perez in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Sportivo Constitución was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Medardo to maneuver through the defense. Israel Galsino hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Fiambalá's Modesto Peio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enzo Uzuri. Enzo Uzuri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, Norberto Theodore notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Fiambalá's Angelino Thomas. Angelino Thomas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angelino Burutzagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Uzuri having to interfere. Angelino Thomas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Erico's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Angelino Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Theodore in the 80th minute of play. Angelino Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Medardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiambalá's Angelino Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Erico in the 86th minute of play. Ciriaco Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Thomas having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, Sportivo Constitución's Arsenio Erico made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Thomas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sportivo Constitución walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
