Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristi Koçiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, NEGAN y los savadores's goalkeeper Vinicio Librado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heigo Luiga. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristi Koçiu in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Kristi Koçiu came free, but Buford Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Bakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buford Lim having to interfere. After 30 minutes NEGAN y los savadores's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardino Gonsalve who took care of the corner kick. Vinicio Librado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Misaki in the 34th minute. Kristi Koçiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Buford Lim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Flor in the 42nd minute of play. Buford Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristi Koçiu in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Rodolfo Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buford Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heigo Luiga was the one to do the kick off. Kristi Koçiu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristi Koçiu got free with Buford Lim in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute of the match NEGAN y los savadores got a corner. C.A.Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kristi Koçiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tom Misaki struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Vinicio Librado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. Buford Lim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristi Koçiu went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute of the game Bernardino Gonsalve made a throw-in which Tom Misaki played forward. Vinicio Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heigo Luiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heigo Luiga in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Librado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. NEGAN y los savadores's Kristi Koçiu got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Taurino during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gavril Bosioc hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Wincenty Kondysar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinicio Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heigo Luiga in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Rodolfo Bakar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Buford Lim. The goal made the score 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. NEGAN y los savadores had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
