Selçuk Durcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Floreanu in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Toro in the 22nd minute of play forced ATYLAS FC's goalkeeper Orlando Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Floreanu got free with Marcelo Barovero in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Lugano 1 y 2's Haroldo Laffitte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Mercurio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cosimo Cinalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Barovero having to interfere. In the 35th minute David Floreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, David Floreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATYLAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Floreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Barovero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes ATYLAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Mancio. In the 41st minute, David Floreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATYLAS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 45th minute Constantino Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selçuk Durcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Selçuk Durcan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Barovero having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Selçuk Durcan made the kick off in the second half. ATYLAS FC's Orlando Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Toro in the 56th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, ATYLAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daren McCollum came free, but Orlando Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Selçuk Durcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Haroldo Laffitte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATYLAS FC's Orlando Mercurio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute Odon Saena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ATYLAS FC made a substitution. Ermegildo Rosio replaced Selçuk Durcan. Lugano 1 y 2 made a substitution. Fermin Quintin replaced Constantino Toro. 79 minutes into the match, Lugano 1 y 2's goal looked a bit too open when Odon Saena came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
