ATYLAS FC's Orlando Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Hibai in the 13th minute of play. Leonardo Tancredo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Odon Saena sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute Ladislao Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selçuk Durcan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonardo Tancredo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in ATYLAS FC's zone, Ladislao Hibai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Mercurio came out of the goal and Ladislao Hibai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Hibai in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Milton Casco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selçuk Durcan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Tancredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, David Floreanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leonardo Tancredo to make any attempt to save it. Odon Saena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Leonardo Tancredo made a huge save. Leonardo Tancredo was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Odon Saena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Odon Saena really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. ATYLAS FC's Odon Saena got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonardo Tancredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selçuk Durcan in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Selçuk Durcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Tancredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Selçuk Durcan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match ATYLAS FC got a corner. Nueva Lepra FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Floreanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leonardo Tancredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Floreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nueva Lepra FC's Leonardo Tancredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selçuk Durcan in the 66th minute of play. Adrian Veto struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Orlando Mercurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Lepra FC. The supporters of ATYLAS FC booed when Nueva Lepra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. ATYLAS FC's Ermegildo Rosio was substituted for Selçuk Durcan. After a rather tough play, Nueva Lepra FC's Adrian Veto got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Rosio in the 72nd minute of play forced Nueva Lepra FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Tancredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Orlando Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ATYLAS FC had won after a very even match.
