When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leroy Sane made a kick off. Leroy Sane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmelo Etor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Braulio Quilino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colonia Taranco FC's Leonel Paul was substituted for Erivaldo Urbano. 65 minutes into the game, Colonia Taranco FC's Berni Romeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carmelo Etor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Pastor Kinsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Braulio Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Colonia Taranco FC's Aquiles Elorri seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aquiles Elorri the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Colonia Taranco FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aquiles Elorri had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 92 minutes into the game, one of Colonia Taranco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
