Spectators: 7683 (Terracing: 5763, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Racing de Villada's Exequiel Zeballos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Arnulfo Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Onbera in the 12th minute of play forced Racing de Villada's goalkeeper Carmelo Etor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Patxi took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Etor. Carmelo Etor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Exequiel Zeballos might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Suárez Yasin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Exequiel Zeballos ran back to his position shaking his head. Carmelo Etor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Onbera in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Espinillo's goalkeeper Suárez Yasin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Kinsen. Exequiel Zeballos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Patxi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmelo Etor saved Racing de Villada from getting behind. Pastor Kinsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Patxi made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Racing de Villada's zone, Placido Patxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Etor came out of the goal and Placido Patxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Patxis short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Carmelo Etor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 57 minutes into the match, Espinillo's goal looked a bit too open when Exequiel Zeballos came free, but Suárez Yasin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Lastur hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Espinillo's Placido Patxi in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing de Villada's goalie prevented a goal. Carmelo Etor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Patxi in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Etor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Espinillo's Placido Patxi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Placido Patxi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Carmelo Etor made a huge save. Suárez Yasin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Ieltxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Racing de Villada's goalkeeper Carmelo Etor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Patxi. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Pastor Kinsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing de Villada's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Kinsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Suárez Yasin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Espinillo's Eloy Gorka got a free kick in the 94th minute.
