When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ermegildo Heriberto sped through Aguilas Rojas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingos Satordi. A collision led to Aguilas Rojas FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Diogo Leite hit a great ball. Domingos Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingos Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Eleazar in the 16th minute of play forced Aguilas Rojas FC's goalkeeper Domingos Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Punta Alvear's Jacinto Eleazar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingos Satordi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domingos Satordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Heriberto in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Domingo Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Satordi came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Punta Alvear's Inocencio Frichoso. But to his dismay, Inocencio Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ermegildo Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Domingos Satordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Eleazar went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Domingos Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Eleazar in the 32nd minute of play. Domingos Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Frichoso in the 33rd minute of play. Aguilas Rojas FC's Domingos Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Eleazar in the 36th minute of play. Punta Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Frichoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingos Satordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Frichoso in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Punta Alvear were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benê Salgado to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Aguilas Rojas FC defense, Jacinto Eleazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Satordi. The Aguilas Rojas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Satordi should have stopped the shot. Domingos Satordi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ermegildo Heriberto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 54 minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Punta Alvear's Jacinto Eleazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. In the 63rd minute, Edelmiro Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Aguilas Rojas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Eleazar came free, but Domingos Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Eleazar had several of the Aguilas Rojas FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Domingos Satordi as he didn't even see the shot coming. 70 minutes into the game, Punta Alvear's Edelmiro Veremundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Jacinto Eleazar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 73rd playminute. Domingos Satordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Eleazar in the 77th minute. Punta Alvear played a much better game than Aguilas Rojas FC and deserved their victory. The Aguilas Rojas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
