Spectators: 7855 (Terracing: 5892, Seating: 1807, VIP seats: 156) After a rather tough play, Deportivo Tood's Ceferino Quinto got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramón Díaz in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías Patrone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Oliver Bierhoff could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Eleuterio Loramendi however easily saved by the left post. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Tood's Ramón Díaz. But to his dismay, Ramón Díaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Díaz in the 20th minute of play. If Oliver Bierhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportivo Tood's Eleuterio Loramendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Tood from getting a goal against them. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Baraquiel in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Loramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Los Delfines were awarded a corner. José Luis Brown went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Abdulhamit Beycan to score against Eleuterio Loramendi in Deportivo Tood's goal. 1-1 after 37 minutes. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Tood! Eleuterio Loramendi had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping José Luis Brown's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Eleuterio Loramendi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Luis Brown went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Froilan Baraquiel made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ricky Mollo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Los Delfines got a corner. Deportivo Tood's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Luis Brown ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abdulhamit Beycan made a great header on Los Delfines's corner, it was just that Deportivo Tood's Eleuterio Loramendi managed to reach the ball for a save. Oliver Bierhoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Loramendi having to make a save. Eleuterio Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 61st minute of play. After 64 played minutes Los Delfines got a freekick which was hit by Abdulhamit Beycan. Los Delfines's Lucas Urbez was substituted for Oliver Bierhoff. After a rather tough play, Los Delfines's Hilario Asteri got a free kick in the 68th minute. Eleuterio Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Urbez, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Tood's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Urbez was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Delfines's players had a chance to rest. Lucas Urbez made a great header on Los Delfines's corner, it was just that Deportivo Tood's Eleuterio Loramendi managed to reach the ball for a save. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Urbasa in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Tood's Cornelio Macias got a free kick in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tood's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Urbez came free, but Eleuterio Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Urbez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Urbez in the 86th minute of play forced Deportivo Tood's goalkeeper Eleuterio Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Tood's Froilan Baraquiel. But to his dismay, Froilan Baraquiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Lucas Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Urbez in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Loramendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
