Zacarias Hill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Uggla in the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Costa got free with Ezequiel Fresco in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Douglas Costa took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ezequiel Fresco to make any attempt to save it. Zacarias Hill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Uggla in the 44th minute of play. Ezequiel Fresco had great luck who in the 45thth minute grab hold of the ball when Conrado Hanni from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
