In the 10th minute Klim Kostygin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Jonathan Goito made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Maju. RB Chubut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Precioso came free, but Prospero Maju reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes BOHEMIAN got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Luke. Juan Sorin struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho Pelé got free with Oskar Beckström in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prospero Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martijn Rockloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, BOHEMIAN's goalkeeper Oskar Beckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrézinho Pelé. Andrézinho Pelé received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oskar Beckström came out and tried to block the shot, but Andrézinho Pelé slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. Prospero Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Precioso, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Maximino Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mannie Erus hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

BOHEMIAN's Sidney Pontes was substituted for Juan Galeano. The wind increased when Klim Kostygin made the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Marcelo Carracedo in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RB Chubut's Maximino Aimar. When Klim Kostygin came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the BOHEMIAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klim Kostygin couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Klim Kostygin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Maju was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. RB Chubut's Fernand Redondo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcelo Carracedo, made in the 59th minute of the game. BOHEMIAN played a much better game than RB Chubut and deserved their victory. The RB Chubut players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
