Bairoletto FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, RB Chubut's Isaac Mingo got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Perutxo in the 21st minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Prospero Maju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Diego Satordi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bairoletto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Satordi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Maju breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrézinho Pelé to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sorin during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Tomás Bernard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Maju was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Satordi came free, but Prospero Maju reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
