With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Gelmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Racing Club's Epifanio Txomin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robustiano Gelmiro. That made the score 2-2 after 96 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
