The crowd rose to their feet as Sotelo AFC's Diego Armando Santirso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albino Inguma. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Robustiano Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Cilli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Iureș in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Ederono in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Gelmiro saved Sotelo AFC from getting behind. Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Cilli in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Francesco Cilli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Ederono in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Diego Armando Santirso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Inguma was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Robustiano Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Robustiano Gelmiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute of the match, Håkan Skager tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albino Inguma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Paunero defense, Cirilo Bembe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Inguma. The Paunero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Inguma should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Armando Santirso to make the kick off. With a little luck, Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro got control of the ball when Higinio Ticho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aristide Iureș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Gelmiro was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Albino Inguma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Santirso in the 62nd minute of the match. Cui Liang Yue might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Inguma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cui Liang Yue ran back to his position shaking his head. Robustiano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Ederono in the 84th minute of play. Albino Inguma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Bembe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cui Liang Yue in the 88th minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Albino Inguma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Sotelo AFC got a corner. Paunero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cui Liang Yue ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Sotelo AFC's Cui Liang Yue to fire away a dangerous shot which Albino Inguma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Håkan Skager was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Håkan Skager kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sotelo AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
