Tomas Nafarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Long Stora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Procopio was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Clodoveo Cayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Procopio having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Eleuterio Maraman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Nafarroa got free with Sergio Livingstone in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Livingstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Nafarroa in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, ViCeNzA's goalkeeper Sergio Livingstone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Nafarroa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Hernández in the 32nd minute of play forced Italia's goalkeeper Horacio Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Horacio Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Hernández in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Italia booed when ViCeNzA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Long Stora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Livingstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Redas Baliukonis in the 60th minute of play. In the 78th minute Redas Baliukonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the ViCeNzA defense, Tomas Nafarroa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Livingstone. The ViCeNzA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Livingstone should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Italia getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tomas Nafarroa hit a great ball. Sergio Livingstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Maraman in the 87th minute of play. Horacio Procopio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Moreau in the 88th minute. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Long Stora was slow to take the kick. During this time ViCeNzA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ViCeNzA's Long Stora to fire away a dangerous shot which Horacio Procopio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sergio Livingstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Tomas Nafarroa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Livingstone. ViCeNzA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Nafarroa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Italia fans cheered their team off the field, for while ViCeNzA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
