Uriel Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Palermo in the 5th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Palermo came free, but Uriel Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Păvăloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo in the 6th minute of the match. Eloy Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Uriel Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Uriel Lano got control of the ball when Martín Palermo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Gaufred came free, but Uriel Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Păvăloae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin-Daniel Palermo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Daniel Păvăloae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Hellsing in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Uriel Lano got control of the ball when Yani Abalos tried to sneak it across the goal line. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Uriel Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Palermo in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reinaldo Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Metal Juniors's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Metal Juniors's corner Martín Palermo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Uriel Lano quite easily take care of the ball. Uriel Lano stood somewhat misplaced when Martín Palermo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. In the 30th minute, Martín Palermo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Martin-Daniel Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 booed when Metal Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goalkeeper Uriel Lano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Păvăloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Bartoli in the 40th minute of the match. Martin-Daniel Palermo scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Păvăloae, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Gaufred was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Gaufred came free, but Uriel Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Gaufred in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, Metal Juniors's Eloy Gaufred made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Lano was left in no man's land by his defense there! CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Zachariasz Pstrongowski was substituted for Sven-Arne Hellsing. Martin-Daniel Palermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Daniel Păvăloae made a huge save. Uriel Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 75 played minutes CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 got a freekick which was hit by Aigar Ojaperv. Martin-Daniel Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Metal Juniors's zone, Martin-Daniel Palermo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Păvăloae came out of the goal and Martin-Daniel Palermo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's Eloy Gaufred sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Lano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Nicolas Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metal Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Napier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Metal Juniors had played much better football throughout.
