Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Bizi in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Abbondanzieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Diallo got free with Vladimiro Chuse in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joy Division Athletic's Roberto Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Bizi in the 17th minute of play. Vladimiro Chuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Sugoi in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Bizi in the 21st minute of play forced Joy Division Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Joy Division Athletic's Brian Diallo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladimiro Chuse. Vladimiro Chuse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Roberto Abbondanzieri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Bizi went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Ernesto Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Millrick kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Roberto Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Oton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chimborazo A.F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ernesto Pacifico in the 65th minute. A nice corner shot did that Camilo Berdaitz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Abbondanzieri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Napoleon Wolnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Abbondanzieri having to interfere. The supporters of Chimborazo A.F.C booed when Joy Division Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Calisto kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Marcos Bizi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Roberto Abbondanzieri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
