In the 39th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Szymon Drebit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Zalipski in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Valko De Hond hit a great ball. Juli Alvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juli Alvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Shaila HC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Szymon Drebit made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Teobald Zalipski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edmond Verdun, 0-2. Fausto Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Pastor Ado put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fausto Bortzaioriz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Selmo in the 61st minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juli Alvarez. Errecaborda AFC's Clemente Silviano got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match Clemente Silviano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Bortzaioriz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
