With a little luck, Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi got control of the ball when Szymon Drebit tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobald Zalipski in the 4th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Szymon Drebit put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Agustín Rossi. Shaila HC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Frontera AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juli Alvarez took the corner. Agustín Rossi made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Szymon Drebit sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute Teobald Zalipski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Frontera AFC were awarded a corner. Silvestre Cisco went to the cornerflag to take it. Agustín Rossi was a little too slow when Szymon Drebit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Shaila HC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Cisco came free, but Fausto Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Palacio in the 24th minute of play forced Shaila HC's goalkeeper Fausto Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juli Alvarez in the 25th minute. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juli Alvarez in the 26th minute of play. Shaila HC's Fausto Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 28th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Cecilio Buinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shaila HC and the Frontera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Cecilio Buinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Szymon Drebit to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Palacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Bortzaioriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Silvestre Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shaila HC's Fausto Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naohiro Takahara in the 69th minute of play forced Shaila HC's goalkeeper Fausto Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juli Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shaila HC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvestre Cisco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frontera AFC's Silvestre Cisco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fausto Bortzaioriz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 77 minutes into the game, Shaila HC's Juli Alvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustín Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Fausto Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Palacio in the 80th minute of play. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Zalipski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Juli Alvarez took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustín Rossi. Agustín Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juli Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Shaila HC's Wilfredo Jax. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Jax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 96thth minute of the game Juli Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
