A collision led to Celta de Virgos getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sergio Sayvion hit a great ball. Bernardino Rosio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Zacarias Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AC Batán's Ni Le Zheng got control of the ball when Benny Niva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zacarias Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Konrad Wielkopolski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ni Le Zheng made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Benny Niva sent off a good shot on target. Acácio Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute Acácio Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Ascencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half AC Batán were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th minute, Biagio Pavlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. Dario Elivareo replaced Ruben Gomez. The supporters of AC Batán booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Pavlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Celta de Virgos's Bernardino Rosio to fire away a dangerous shot which Ni Le Zheng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zacarias Ascencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Nogueira in the 74th minute. AC Batán were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Celta de Virgos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gong Feng took the corner. After taking down the ball on AC Batán's corner Gong Feng fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zacarias Ascencio quite easily take care of the ball. In the 80th minute, Enzo-Nicolás Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Batán made a substitution. Ladislao Muc replaced Acácio Nogueira. After a rather tough play, AC Batán's Enzo-Nicolás Perez got a free kick in the 81st minute. David Astudillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ni Le Zheng having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when David Astudillo came free, but Ni Le Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Batán's attentive Enzo-Nicolás Perez managed to snatch the ball when Sergio Sayvion made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Celta de Virgos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Ladislao Muc scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Ascencio, making the score, 0-3. The Celta de Virgos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC Batán's performance. The match ended with a win for AC Batán.
