Christian Günther was slow to take the kick. During this time Juguemos con el 5's players had a chance to rest. Juguemos con el 5's Christian Günther was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cecilio Jax in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Pacho in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Ivan Copil lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Salvador Urki. Juguemos con el 5's Salvador Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Lamberto in the 21st minute of play. Erling Håland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cecilio Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Håland, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Leandro Pacho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax. Cecilio Jax was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute Leandro Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erling Håland might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Jax. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erling Håland ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Pacho was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes San Martin de Tucuman's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Günther who took care of the corner kick. Christian Günther made a great header on Juguemos con el 5's corner, it was just that San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 55th minute, Erling Håland reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cecilio Jax. The goal made the score 1-2. San Martin de Tucuman's 庄雄鹏 was substituted for Luciano Selmo. Cecilio Jax was a little too slow when Erling Håland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 78th minute Jorge Ekaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to San Martin de Tucuman getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Higinio Ederono hit a great ball. San Martin de Tucuman's Severino Elorri was substituted for Petr Schejbal. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Higinio Ederono got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Monte came free, but Cecilio Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Copil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Juguemos con el 5's zone, Ivan Copil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Urki came out of the goal and Ivan Copil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Ekaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Jax read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Juguemos con el 5's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
