Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Aguero came free, but Epifanio Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Sérgio Aguero took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Epifanio Havier to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute, Lukas Lundgren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Epifanio Havier. The goal made the score 1-12. POSSE 1911 FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
