The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anibal Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Ψ virgen Ψ's goalkeeper Antonio Sengrat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Lluques. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Diaz in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Txatxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Anibal Lluques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Horacio Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Manni made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Q. T. I.'s Leopoldo Vermudo. In the 48th minute, Wilfredo Uxio made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Sengrat. Ψ virgen Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Diaz to make the kick off. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jonas Henrico hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Ψ virgen Ψ's Celso Gar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Horacio Dolfo scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Sengrat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stephan Alards came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paulo Txatxu could save by the left post. 65 minutes into the game, Horacio Dolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Q. T. I.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ψ virgen Ψ the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. Q. T. I. made a substitution. Faustino Txerran replaced Leopoldo Vermudo.
