The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anibal Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Primitivo Lander came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Pinocho Pelotari F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Lander couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Tiso in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Elpidio Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Nontas Iordanidis. But to his dismay, Nontas Iordanidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Olo in the 17th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes Xeneizes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Primitivo Lander who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Primitivo Lander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Xeneizes's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo did a great save. A collision led to Pinocho Pelotari F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nontas Iordanidis hit a great ball. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Mero in the 22nd minute of the match. Pinocho Pelotari F.C. were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Xeneizes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Primitivo Lander took the corner. Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Primitivo Lander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 29th play minutes Elpidio Mero shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo and just under the crossbar into goal. 38 minutes into the match, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Iigo. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Mero in the 40th minute of play. Lucas Iigo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alejandro Terciero firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Pinocho Pelotari F.C. booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Primitivo Lander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Lander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Peru made a kick off. A collision led to Xeneizes getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fulgencio Peru hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Olo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo saved Xeneizes from getting behind. Hector Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Olo in the 59th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Tiso in the 62nd minute of play. Xeneizes's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Xeneizes from getting a goal against them. Xeneizes made a substitution. Aristides Nastasio replaced Lucas Iigo. Mihai Şelaru kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Olo in the 70th minute of the match. Adan Ondino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Peru in the 75th minute of play forced Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Olo in the 77th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Xeneizes's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Olo came free, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Olo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a huge save. In the 87th match minute, Xeneizes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Nastasio to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Nastasio in the 90th minute of the match. Alejandro Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qi Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Pinocho Pelotari F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pinocho Pelotari F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
