The audience thought a goal was coming when Martín Cardetti got free with Augusto Batalla in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martín Cardetti in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Batalla saved Arianos DM from getting behind. Augusto Batalla had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Fermín Verdu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fermín Verdu did an outstanding performance 43 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Augusto Batalla in the goal. Arianos DM's attentive Victor Ferran managed to snatch the ball when Rogelio Mouricio made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. The supporters of Arianos DM booed when T€Tra brick FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arianos DM's Jeronimo Bento was substituted for Osvaldo Mero. In the 48th minute, Ermegildo Tulio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lambe Conchas to make the kick off.
