Sebastian Vettel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pepomania's goalie and right to Roberto Vedillo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pepomania's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Mané Jacinto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emiliano Claude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Joachim in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Oriol in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Claude prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Pepomania's zone, Godofredo Oriol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Claude came out of the goal and Godofredo Oriol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Grox Team F.C.'s Cristian Romero got a free kick in the 26th minute. Mané Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grox Team F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sjoerd Baptist was slow to take the kick. During this time Pepomania's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sjoerd Baptist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grox Team F.C.'s Mané Jacinto did a great save. Lucio Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Emiliano Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Oriol was the one to do the kick off. Emiliano Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute Pepomania were awarded a corner. Ismael Lain went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 64th minute, Ramiro Frantzes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mané Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The throw-in from Anier Canor in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grox Team F.C.'s Cristian Romero. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Godofredo Oriol took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Emiliano Claude to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th minute Ramiro Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Ramiro Frantzes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mané Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute Tomás Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grox Team F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Vettel in the 81st minute. Sebastian Vettel made a great header on Grox Team F.C.'s corner, it was just that Pepomania's Emiliano Claude managed to reach the ball for a save. Mané Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Frantzes's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Grox Team F.C.'s Godofredo Oriol got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Pepomania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Baudelio to maneuver through the defense. Aureliano Mambru hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Pepomania were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Grox Team F.C. for a fine match.
