In the 38thth minute of the game Todd Gronow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayapaso's Angelo Tulio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ildefonso Foro got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Petrigai in the 42nd minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Todd Gronow couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes in the game Cayetano Polo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ignacio Cefero. Angelo Tulio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Gronow went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Ayapaso's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Gronow came free, but Angelo Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Andreas Harlén replaced Zula Turek. Jimeno Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match.
