That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. When Vladimiro Lage came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the INTER de Córdoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Lage couldn't finish the play. The supporters of EL RUSSO FC booed when INTER de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. INTER de Córdoba's Santiago Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save INTER de Córdoba from getting a goal against them. Damián Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damián Åkerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Pacorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Santiago Torres made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Boruc Jaraczeski sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, EL RUSSO FC's Boruc Jaraczeski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, EL RUSSO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damián Åkerman came free, but Natalio Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Prusek got free with Santiago Torres in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natalio Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damián Åkerman in the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damián Åkerman in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Pacorro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to EL RUSSO FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Melquiades Garaona hit a great ball. With a little luck, INTER de Córdoba's Santiago Torres got control of the ball when Olgierd Prusek tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damián Åkerman made a kick off. Santiago Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Garaona in the 52nd minute of play. Santiago Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Prusek, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Garaona in the 56th minute of play forced INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Santiago Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boruc Jaraczeski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Torres having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Melquiades Garaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. INTER de Córdoba's Blas Guzman was substituted for Vladimiro Lage. In the 71st minute Melquiades Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to INTER de Córdoba getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wictor Tinglöv hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Max Ferro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Torres. INTER de Córdoba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Max Ferro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Natalio Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheng Qian Qiang, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. EL RUSSO FC's Natalio Pacorro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save EL RUSSO FC from getting a goal against them. EL RUSSO FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
