Silvestre Natanael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohieddine Ayari in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Guillelmus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Emeterio in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Natanael saved BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. After 28 minutes, Tomas Bernad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB and the Funebrero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tomas Bernad hit a great ball. Nestor Guillelmus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cirilo Arlo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Arlo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohieddine Ayari to strike the kick off in the second half.
