Inocencio Bertin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Gilberto Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, HFA FC's Celestino Eli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Bertin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. C.J. De la Sotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Bertin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The HFA FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when HFA FC's Celestino Eli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Desastre FC defense, Celestino Eli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inocencio Bertin. The Desastre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Bertin should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Celestino Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Bertin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Bertin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Eli went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Eli was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Desastre FC's zone, Alejo Suero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Bertin came out of the goal and Alejo Suero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as HFA FC's Celestino Eli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inocencio Bertin. That made the score 0-10 after 54 minutes of play. Maximiliano Petrigai took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inocencio Bertin. Inocencio Bertin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Celestino Eli took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inocencio Bertin. Desastre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HFA FC the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, Desastre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Eli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Bertin having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as HFA FC's Celestino Eli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inocencio Bertin. That made the score 0-15 after 80 minutes of play. With 84 minutes on the clock, Feliciano Gorosti commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Desastre FC! The goalkeeper, Inocencio Bertin, was totally fooled by HFA FC's Maximiliano Petrigai, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Eli in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Bertin saved Desastre FC from getting behind. Inocencio Bertin was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Alejo Suero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alejo Suero really showed his touch with that goal: 0-17. The crowd rose to their feet as Celestino Eli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Inocencio Bertin. That made the score 0-18 in the 98 minute of play. The Desastre FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. HFA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
