Enzo Díaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Characate FC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Achtung Babies's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emre Can took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Uriel Paio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eurico Velloso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes into the game, Selami Bilgen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Characate FC's Serafino Paez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 26 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Daunte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Héctor Mainer. Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emre Can in the 29th minute of play. Eurico Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emre Can in the 31st minute of the match. Nestor Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Héctor Mainer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Zacarias Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Characate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Francesco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Francesco made a kick off. Osvaldo Daunte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Mainer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Daunte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selami Bilgen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute Héctor Mainer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Mainer in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Afonso got free with Eurico Velloso in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Francesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Eurico Velloso made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Mainer came free, but Osvaldo Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Osvaldo Daunte was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kobi Usabiaga in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Daunte saved Characate FC from getting behind. Uriel Paio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Zacarias Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Francesco in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobi Usabiaga in the 87th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Characate FC played a much better game than Achtung Babies and deserved their victory. The Achtung Babies players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
