Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Robert Abbondanzieri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Augustinas Gavorskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Deportivo Mukenio's Aziz Akarsu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Abbondanzieri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustinas Gavorskis in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Mukenio defense, Augustinas Gavorskis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Gimenez. The Deportivo Mukenio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Gimenez should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Medievales's Robert Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 45th minute of play. Aziz Akarsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Abbondanzieri having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aziz Akarsu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ismael Gimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustinas Gavorskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Aziz Akarsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Abbondanzieri having to make a save. Deportivo Medievales's Eriberto Dalmai was substituted for Jeremías Tindall. 65 minutes in the game Tomas Sazon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nino Manfredi. Robert Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Akarsu in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 91st minute of play forced Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Robert Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mukenio's Mircea Buciuceanu got a free kick in the 95th minute.
