After 9 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Tanio. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Gonzalo Martinez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gabriel Ikatz to make any attempt to save it. Jesus Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Truylos in the 18th minute of play forced Tiquitaca FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Independiente's Gabriel Ikatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Tiquitaca FC's Gabriel Ikatz threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Haroldo Gilen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aquiles Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Truylos in the 25th minute of play. Aquiles Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Truylos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Truylos to strike the kick off in the second half. Maikel Jol's late challenge caught a Tiquitaca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maikel Jol helped the player get up and apologised. Maikel Jol hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Eriberto Truylos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Cordeal having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lučano Lapotne to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Eriberto Truylos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 minutes of play, Independiente's Eriberto Truylos made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Cordeal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Eriberto Truylos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Cordeal was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 91st minute Jesus Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ikatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Tiquitaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Ederono. The Tiquitaca FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Independiente's performance. The match ended with a win for Independiente.
