Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Suy in the 8th minute of play forced Los Laguneros de AT's goalkeeper Fabio Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Nestor Tesone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Nestor Tesone made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Idacio. Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Los Laguneros de AT's Radomil Frodyma got a free kick in the 15th minute. Bartolo Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tesone in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Independiente's Eriberto Truylos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Fabio Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Wei Kun in the 29th minute of play. Independiente's Xu Wei Kun was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bartolo Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tesone in the 37th minute of play. Fabio Nabar came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Martin Suy. But to his dismay, Martin Suy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Bartolo Idacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Tesone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Independiente's Zeledon Sazon was substituted for Eriberto Truylos. Radomil Frodyma hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Xu Wei Kun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Nabar, 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Tesone to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Independiente's Bartolo Idacio got control of the ball when Nestor Tesone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Nabar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xu Wei Kun went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Fabio Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Suy, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Los Laguneros de AT booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Zeledon Sazon sped through Los Laguneros de AT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Nabar. After having played for 67 minutes, Nestor Tesone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Laguneros de AT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Tesone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute Martin Suy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Martin Suy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Fabio Nabar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Maule, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 88th minute of the game Flavio Tanio made a throw-in which Zeledon Sazon played forward. Pan Chao Yan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Independiente's Xu Wei Kun in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Independiente fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Laguneros de AT had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
