Bin Abbiati made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Shi Ming sent off a good shot on target. Terremoto FC were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Mitutonio F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hilario Duarte took the corner. After 8 played minutes Mitutonio F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Blades. Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Aimar in the 11th minute of play. Gaston Laurentzi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Shi Ming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bin Abbiati having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Shi Ming kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bin Abbiati. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 36th minute Shi Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bin Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shi Ming's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bin Abbiati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Kenneth Libesoons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Nigbor went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Natalio Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Nigbor to strike the kick off in the second half. Bin Abbiati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming in the 52nd minute of play. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mitutonio F. C.'s goalkeeper Bin Abbiati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute Terremoto FC were awarded a corner. Hilario Duarte went to the cornerflag to take it. Shi Ming blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bin Abbiati having to make a save. Shi Ming struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Bin Abbiati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Shi Ming managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terremoto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shi Ming was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bin Abbiati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Shi Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bin Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Libesoons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Gagriel in the 82nd minute of play. If Adam Nigbor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mitutonio F. C.'s goalkeeper Bin Abbiati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
